Hi everyone, I’m Fraser Holland and I lead the offices in the Central North Island for New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty. Welcome to Hawke's Bay.
Hawke’s Bay is a fabulous place to live. The twin cities of Napier and Hastings offer a great urban way of life without the hassle of larger cities, while numerous lifestyle and rural properties are just minutes away from city centres. You have the best of both worlds!

The region is known for its art deco architecture, world-class viticulture and wineries and of course our horticultural backbone. While the effects of the recent cyclone will be long felt, the residential urban markets of Napier and Hasting remain largely unaffected.

Right now New Zealand Sotheby's is seeing a marked increase in property sales. In part due to the unfortunate circumstance of those displaced from their homes.

Recent years have seen an upsurge in buyers relocating here from larger centres and cities, and no wonder. We have great schools and career opportunities, a lifestyle that is second to none, and a broader of properties within reach.

While Napier currently has a median price of $680,000 this doesn't tell the full story. The more desirable suburbs of Napier Hill, Ahuriri and Taradale sit just shy of $1M.

Hastings median is around $750k but is bolstered by the picturesque village of Havelock North who’s median sits over the $1M mark.

Some notable properties we have on the market include 340 Lawn Road, on the outskirts of Havelock North, a beautiful 2 story character villa set amongst vineyards in a tranquil lifestyle setting.

And sitting proudly on Bluff Hill, Napier, 37 Seapoint Road, a large family home with spectacular views out across the Bay.

Our offices have experienced a strong number of high end sales in Napier and Havelock North recently and I’m immensely proud of my team for helping so many clients achieve great results.

2 recent sales of note include 77 Foster Lane in Havelock North, striking in design and positioned to ensure amazing views, and 88 Tuki Tuki Hills Road, is conveniently positioned in close proximity to Napier and Hastings and offers the new owners the tranquil lifestyle that Hawke’s Bay is known for.

Our exceptional teams in Napier, Ahuriri, Taradale, Havelock North and Central Hawke’s Bay bring together a remarkable depth and breadth of real estate, so make sure to connect with our experts if you are looking to sell your property or find your dream home.
