While the national picture stayed mixed, our strongest momentum came through lifestyle and regional markets where quality still drives decisive action and where trusted advice matters most.
Queenstown continued to attract high demand for trophy lifestyle homes, while Nelson stood out for enduring lifestyle appeal and scarcity of supply at the premium end. Hawke’s Bay remained a consistent performer for buyers seeking space, community and quality lifestyle properties. Christchurch and the wider Canterbury market strengthened throughout the year, supported by downsizers and premium buyers. Northland continued to draw blue-chip coastal buyers, while Waikato’s high-end lifestyle market went from strength to strength.
These are the markets where quality homes don’t need hype. They need the right agent to expose them to serious buyers, and negotiate with confidence.
High-end momentum was the other defining storyline of our year. $5m+ activity lifted meaningfully across 2025, with growth in both volume and value, as quality listings were effectively promoted through our high-net-worth client channels and global network.
