NZSIR “Discover Auctions” – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty Discover Auctions promotion (“the Promotion”).

By participating in the Promotion, vendors agree to be bound by the following:

1. Promoter
   The promoters are NZSIR Waikato Limited, SRLD Limited, STLD Limited, SHB Limited and NZSIR WAI Limited, together referred to in these Terms and Conditions as “NZSIR Central Region”.
2. Promotion Details
   The Promotion provides eligible vendors with discounted Discover Auctions marketing packages for properties marketed for sale by auction through participating NZSIR Central Region offices in Waikato, Rotorua, Taupō, Hawke’s Bay and Wairarapa. Package inclusions, pricing and savings vary by region and package and are set out in the relevant Discover Auctions marketing package.
3. Promotion Period
   The Promotion commences on 1 September 2026. To qualify, a signed agency agreement specifying auction as the method of sale must be completed by 22 November 2026 (inclusive), and the auction must be scheduled to be held by 31 December 2026 (inclusive).
4. Eligibility
   The Discover Auctions Marketing Package is available for new NZSIR listings. The Discover Auctions Refresh Package is available for existing NZSIR listings changing to the auction method of sale.
5. Package Terms
   Packages are offered subject to the inclusions and pricing shown in the applicable regional package. Some package elements may be varied by agreement with the listing agent; changes or substitutions are not guaranteed. Any additional items selected by the vendor are in addition to the listed package at the applicable price.
6. Payment and Refunds
   Marketing fees are non-refundable and must be paid in full before the property is listed online. Prices are subject to change without notification, except where otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Early Sale or Auction Changes
   A property that sells before its scheduled auction remains eligible for the promotional pricing. If an auction is withdrawn, cancelled, postponed beyond 31 December 2026, or the method of sale later changes, the promotional marketing costs are not refundable.
8. General Conditions
   NZSIR Central Region reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Promotion if circumstances outside its reasonable control require this. Any agreed changes to a package or these terms must be confirmed by the relevant NZSIR Central Region office or listing agent.
