Chester Rendell joined New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty in 2016, bringing with him nearly 20 years of specialist experience in residential, waterfront and lifestyle properties, alongside high-end hospitality and tourism businesses. Having owned and operated in the hospitality sector himself for over 15 years, he brings a rare, practical understanding of how these businesses actually work — insight that proves invaluable when advising clients on resort and hospitality property investments. Since 2000, Chester has specialised in the South Pacific Islands, with a particular focus on Fiji — selling resorts, waterfront real estate, residential resort developments and private holiday retreats. Today, with some 25 years in the region, he remains one of the most experienced specialists in Fiji and Pacific Islands luxury real estate, handling everything from private islands to high-end resort transactions. His success has also extended to other island nations, including Rarotonga and Vanuatu, giving him a genuinely broad perspective across the wider Pacific real estate market.
