Joining Sothebys September 2022 as General Manager Sales - Southern Lakes Region based in Queenstown. Jo brings international sales, marketing and commercial experience gained from both her tenure at Microsoft NZ where she held the role of Corporate Sales Manager followed by 15 years successful business owner. Jo moved away from the corporate world to set up her successful outdoor furniture business, Coastal Design, with showrooms in Parnell and Sydney. She ran the business for 10 years, then in 2017 decided to forge her combined knowledge and love of luxury properties and design and move into real estate. With a decade of sales coaching experience under her belt, and a strong background in coaching high-performing sales teams, Jo is excited to join Sotheby’s and bring her knowledge and enthusiasm to the role of GM of Sales. A born and bred South Islander, Jo grew up on Mt Hutt ski field, her Grandfather Lex was one of the original founders & Chair of the field.
