Becoming involved with a premium international brand that would exceed his Vendors expectations was the compelling reason Michael joined New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty. Michael commenced his Real Estate career in 2005, initially as a commercial agent working with corporates before progressing into residential.
Over the last 12 years he has accumulated the knowledge and experience to achieve strong outcomes for his Vendors through well-constructed marketing campaigns, professionalism, transparency and a capacity for hard work. Michael has considerable expertise with his auction and asking price campaigns and is very marketing savvy. He believes strongly in obtaining the full value of your property, it requires an understanding of the nuances of putting a deal together, empathy and the drive to get the all-important sale.
Prior to real estate, Michael was involved in the shipping and luxury automotive industries. He qualified as a chartered shipbroker from the UK and has a tertiary qualification in International Marketing. On coming ashore, he held senior management roles for shipping companies in New Zealand and abroad. 30 years in marketing and management has given Michael superb negotiation skills needed to close the sale. Outside of work Michael enjoys spending time with his two young sons, Rory and Morgan and supporting all their sporting activities.
