After a stellar international business career, Justin has settled in Devonport on the Shore, an area where he was born and knows best, selling top end coastal real estate.
He brings a highly relevant blend of strategic marketing flair and practical building experience to enhance the New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty team offering.
After completing a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in International Business, Justin sold luxury cars before taking off on his big OE. He landed in Santiago, Chile, the hub of South American enterprise where he soon established his own consulting company. There, he helped foreign businesses start up, providing them with key information and strategic marketing assistance; identifying investors, business partners and networking opportunities. As well as working with private sector companies, his clientele included the Chilean government and New Zealand Trade & Enterprise. Along the way, he picked up a post-graduate qualification in Venture Capital and learned Spanish and Portuguese.
When he returned after 10 years to New Zealand to have children with his Kiwi wife, he continued the business. But travelling extensively was not conducive to family life. So instead, he took on villa and bungalow renovations, reclads and new builds, indulging his dream to make things with his own hands. Justin enjoyed this new challenge. Yet he discovered it was the marketing aspect that really drove him. It was in his genes. Realising he could no longer defer to his natural instincts, he switched to real estate.
With his remarkable global business background and networks, Justin is a highly motivated and competitive individual, expert at successfully tapping into opportunities. He enjoys working with and meeting all kinds of people from all walks of life. He knows how to skilfully negotiate winning outcomes in a quietly focused way.
